Our chapter aims to help our members grow and succeed through professional, social and philanthropic development. Over the past years of our chapter's existence, the Eta Beta Chapter has participated in numerous events, and had many accomplishments.

Professional Development Achievements

During the Nationals Convention in March 2022, Michigan State’s PSE had five finalists, and took home the title of top amethyst chapter! (pictured to the right)

In November 2019, the Eta Beta Chapter competed in multiple events at the Pi Sigma Epsilon Regional Convention in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Three of our amazing members were selected as finalists in the Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon Competition.

During March 2019, at the National Convention in Jacksonville, Florida, Michigan State’s Eta Beta Chapter was recognized as National Finalists for the Lloyd L. Antle Top Amethyst Chapter as well as Top Chapter Recruitment Program.

PSE Participated in the 2018 National Convention that took place in San Diego, California. We were honored to compete as finalists in Top Management Chapter, Top Recruitment Chapter, Top Social Media Chapter, Top Professional Development Chapter and Top Silver Chapter.

Philanthropic Events

Every semester as a part of the initiation process our new members must coordinate and execute a fundraiser for a cause of their choosing. Most recently our members held a fundraiser at Wells Hall on campus at Michigan State University to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation.

In the past years, our chapter has been invited to participate in Biz Bowl, a Volleyball tournament charity event put on by a separate business fraternity on campus. The Eta Beta Chapter made donations in order to play, and participated in the Volleyball tournament, all proceeds supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Every spring, we co-sponsor the Kelli Hughes Annual 5K Memorial run with the Global Sales Leadership Society. Overall we ended up surpassing the goal of $10,000, doubling the amount raised the prior year. We are currently in the planning stages of The Fourth Annual Kelli Hughes 5K, and we hope to significantly surpass the amount we raised last year.

Social Experiences

The brothers of Pi Sigma Epsilon also recognize the importance of social events, which is why we always strive to give members opportunities to have fun and get to know one another. We have at least one social event each month for members to continue to interact with each other, and sometimes more. These include an annual Hayride, Formal, Senior Sendoff, Pistons Company Tours, and so much more. These social events encourage our members to enjoy themselves and understand that they're an integral part of the chapter. Additionally, new members are paired up with an experienced member to create a mentorship to help young members become acclimated in both Michigan State’s campus as well as the Eta Beta chapter of PSE.
